Initial Consultation

Service Description

The initial consultation provides an opportunity for coach and client to get to know one another. You can ask questions about our services, how we work, and start developing trust in me to guide you through the journey. In return I ask that you offer me some insight into your world. This session will include a thorough assessment of the concerns that brought you to Feeling for Healing. You will have the opportunity to tell us your concerns, how they impact your well-being, and how they show up in your day-to-day life. Then we would usually go through what an average day looks like for you and discuss areas where we can make changes. After that I'll ask you to imagine what an "optimally-well you" looks like and we will set some goals to work towards. Before the session I'll offer some insight from a biopsychosocial point of view and introduce you to at least one technique that you will be able to start using immediately in your life. It's normal to be a bit apprehensive about your first appointment with any one new, do try to relax though, I'm here to guide you not judge you.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life happens and there will be times you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments. We appreciate you doing so as soon as possible. Any appointment may be rescheduled without penalty up to 1 hour before the original appointment time. Appointments rescheduled within an hour of the original time will incur a 25% charge of the service cost. Appointments cancelled within 24 hours of the original appointment time will incur a 50% charge of the service cost. All no shows and missed appointments will incur a 100% charge (ie no refund will be made available).
